Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how initial website payments, monthly subscriptions, cancellations, duplicate payments and separately quoted third-party costs are handled.

1. Initial website payments

The GH¢300 initial payment for Launch, Business and Growth, and the base GH¢500 initial payment for Nexus Systems, confirm the project, reserve production capacity and cover onboarding / the first billing period.

If you ask to cancel before we have started material work and before we have incurred non-recoverable third-party costs, you may request a refund. Any approved refund may exclude payment-processing charges or third-party costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.

2. Once work or provisioning has started

Once material design/development work has started, a domain has been ordered, hosting/email has been provisioned, a paid license/API has been purchased, or other non-recoverable work/costs have been incurred for your project, the initial payment is generally non-refundable to the extent it covers work performed and costs incurred, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If only part of the agreed work has been completed, we may consider a fair partial refund or account credit in appropriate circumstances.

3. Monthly subscription fees

Monthly fees are paid in advance to keep the website and included services active for the new billing period. Once a billing period has begun and the service has been made available, the monthly fee is generally non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise or we agree a remedy because we could not provide a material part of the paid service.

Failure to use the website during an active paid period does not by itself create a right to a refund.

4. Domains, licenses and third-party costs

Domain registrations/renewals, premium themes/plugins, paid APIs, SMS usage, payment-gateway fees, external subscriptions and similar third-party purchases may be non-refundable under the provider's rules. Where we have already incurred such a cost specifically for your project, it may be deducted from any refund that would otherwise be due.

5. Duplicate, incorrect or failed payments

If you are charged twice for the same invoice/application, or if a confirmed payment is applied to the wrong record, contact us with the payment reference. We will investigate and, where verified, correct the account or arrange an appropriate refund.

A payment that shows as pending or failed at your bank/mobile-money provider but has not settled to us is not treated as received until the payment processor confirms it.

6. Cancelling your subscription

You may ask us to cancel future monthly renewals. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You should make the request before the next due date.

Cancellation does not automatically include transfer of our templates, reusable code, platform components or source code. Any migration, source-code handover, website buyout, data export or domain-transfer assistance that falls outside the subscribed service may be separately quoted.

Amounts already overdue remain payable even if you later request cancellation.

7. If we cannot provide the agreed service

If we determine that we cannot deliver a material part of the agreed standard service and no reasonable alternative is accepted, we may provide an appropriate remedy, account credit, partial refund or full refund depending on the work completed and third-party costs already incurred.

Temporary maintenance, customer-caused delays, third-party outages, registrar/payment-provider delays, suspension for non-payment or suspension for a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy do not automatically qualify for a refund.

8. Requesting a refund or cancellation

Send your request using the official Intek Websites/Intek Multimedia contact channel and include your full name, business name, application reference, payment reference and reason for the request. We may request additional information to verify the account and transaction.

Approved refunds are returned using an available method determined by the original payment route, processor capabilities and applicable operational requirements. Processing time can depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
